Hi Gang,

Saw some of the Dudley Do-Right movie with Brendan Fraser last night on AMC. Our hero Dudley carries a 1928 with a "L" drum! How cool is that!
Still the movie isn't as good as the original cartoon. Can't beat the classics!

And one 3 Stooges short during the Saturday marathon featured a gorilla with an L drum equipped Thompson!

Listening to you guys reminded me of my favorite Laurel and Hardy. They were in prision and were in the chow hall. Prisioners were passing Thompson parts under the table, assembling it as it passed hands. A fully assembled Thompson finally ended up in Laurel's hands and that's when all the Lead started to fly. I never did figure out if that was a prop or not, but it was still a great Thompson moment for my childhood.

That movie is "Pardon Us" their first feature length
film. It's available from Movies Unlimited and Amazon.com, I believe. Great movie!!
