Hi,
Was at a show and saw two "c" drums. #1668 and didn't yet get the other one. Owned by a Mr. Curt McClain in Bentley, MI. Two years ago he wanted $1600, now he wants $1800 (yes, each!). I thought the market was around $1200....
I also located the Eaton County MI sherriff dept Colt, s/n 12498, in a private collection near Lansing, MI. Owner does not want to be ID'd, and gun is not for sale. In police case, L drum (maybe C also?) and has the original bill of sale - thinks it is worth $30K now. Must be talking to Arthur...
How do we get this to Gordon and/or Tracie??

Mike,
Those "C" drums you saw at the show must be West Hurley drums. Original "C" drums sell for much more than $1,200.00.

Gordon has already accounted for #12498, but he will pleased to know that the current owner wouldn't sell for even $30K. Those WH C drums are numbered on one side only. They might fetch a grand if they were massaged by a drum doctor.
