i picked up a 1911a1 this evening.
it's a springfield "wwII" spec pistol. looks good next to the thompson. all i *need* now is a shotgun to go with them. any ideas?

You might consider the Norinco 97trench gun, it's close to the Winchester 97 Trench gun but it won't break you budget. They were under $400 when I checked, avalibility is the kicker though. I was about to buy a standard 97 and a repo handguard from IMA when the genuine article crossed my path ( no not for sale at any price). I've seen the Norinco's they look pretty good and know guy who has put three years of cowboy action shooting threw his with no problems.

If any of you intend to purchase anything Norinco, better hurry. Bush banned Imports from Norinco.
