Sig,

Do you live in Florida or were you visiting?

It has been just about 2 years since my last visit to the museum. I bet a lot has changed and hope to make it there again shortly.

Sig, ... sorry I missed your visit,I spend a lot of time at the museum. My friends and I painted the `Old Sparky` room and did a bunch of moving chores a couple a years ago.I go there often as I have several pieces on loan or in transfer at the museum.Bill Douglas is quite the class 3 historian and a real pleasure to deal with...he is a wealth of info...hope you had a chance to chat with him. wink.gif

Sig,
Beautiful Thompsons.Something about the engraved one tho i don't like.
It just seems like thompsons shouldn't be engraved like that.Takes the aura away from it. Maybe it's just me.

Mario, I couldn't agree more with you on your observation, concerning engraving Thompsons. If that is what floats the boats of some, so be it. blink.gif ohmy.gif Yet, they remind me of some cheap rip-off carnival gun, used to plink at metal duckies in a shooting gallery! laugh.gif cool.gif Regards, Walter

P.S. I couldn't care less that J. Curtis Earl once owned the, "Midas Thompson."

I was visiting the area. Jim sorry I could not meet you.
