Are they Mfg. marked?
I am looking at a pair but I don't see any markings.

Some are, some aren't. Most are marked with a Y on the underside. Frank's book has the manufacturer. I don't remember which contractor Y was.

"Y" was Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company in Stamford, CT. Stevens is also listed with their blocky S marking that looks more like a "5". Markings are on the underside of the mounting plate and are not visible when the swivel is installed.
I have one set marked "Y" and one unmarked set., just the dimple mark in the center of the top and bottom.
