Islamic Web site claims revenge killing

A local kid, slightly younger than myself, from near by West Chester, Pa. was shown murdered today on a video tape released by some sort of islamic group.. (he was there rebuilding communication towers as a contract worker) Just reading the story made me mad as hell and sick to my stomach, I left work early.

Well, we're really in the shit now! ohmy.gif As I wrote in another post, we need to severely punish those U.S. soldiers/ civillians who abuse Iraqi prisoners, or we will be seen as no better than any other nation. As President Bush said, "our national reputation has been tarnished by this." The vermin smell blood! unsure.gif They sense weakness of will, morality, and morale!! This is equivalent to an injured bull moose being taken down by a pack of wolves!!! blink.gif Weakness cannot, and must not, be shown! For the moment, however, it's time for some pay back!!! mad.gif Best regards, Walter

Between this sh*t and the numerous soldiers dying everyday including Pat Tillman, I have changed my military planning. I had originally set my sights on going to college for a four year degree in aerospace engineering, and then applyin to OCS in the USMC to eventually attempt to become a USMC helicopter pilot.
But lately I have been thinking alot and I have now decided to head straight for the rangers to get some of this action and take revenge for these deaths.
I am 17 and this stuff may sound stupid to some of you guys but just know that there are still some young "punks" who really care about the future of this country.

I have always known that I am meant to serve my country in some manner.

All this recent terrorism has only fueled my desire.....

Look, benulis55, if you have a dream, stick to it. At least it has civilian applications. They will still be plenty of'em left.

When I heard about this today I felt the same way Nick. It has just lit my fire about these bastards. These are nothing more then heartless mindless animals following a sick leader. I say pull all the troops out to a 2 mile perimeter around Fallujah and call in some B-52's and go MOAB on their ass! get old Black Jack Pershing back. It's to bad we have to be so freakin' "politically correct"!

benulis55- get a college degree and become a chopper pilot. Be a pilot and it will pay off years later also. Just talked to a kid last week that flies the island hoppers in one of the St. Islands. he flies the twin engine otter. What ever that is. 25 years old and has a job that most commercial jet pilots would love to have.

Benulis55; I was 17 finishing H.S. and seeing the fighting in Viet Nam on tv everyday. My countrymen were there, and I knew that was were I wanted to go..... wink.gif Pick your way though, it seems you have; I chose tanks; You mentioned Rangers. Do it!....School will be here when you get back, & besides, the government will pay for it then.
This is WWIII, and it is just beginning; The liberal voices in this country needed to be muffled, and our armed forces need to be built back up.......If we walk away from that place over there now, as we abandoned the people in South Viet Nam, the fanatical muslims will be coming here in full force to destroy America and the west. ph34r.gif
You will be joining a great bunch of guys. I see them here at Ft.Knox all the time; Their positive fighting attitude is contagious, even with the wounded. You will fit in fine. If you choose that, do good, and God Bless you. smile.gif

Mike H., you are correct, it's time to break out the bombers and start leveling cities. The liberals will never understand, THERE ARE NO RULES IN WAR! The way battles are fought now is purely political in nature, driven by responce to the domestic and foreign media and worldwide opinion. Any retalitory or agressive responce always must be "politicaly correct". These goddam liberal commies over here, "Oh my, the poor civilians, oh my, the poor little prisoners who had there arm twisted... The hell with that shit, It's time to end this war in a big way that will put a big stamp on the middle east saying "You will NEVER fuck with the U.S. Again, if you know what's good for you. Hell, we would probably still be fighting WWII if we would have had to seek approval from wordwide opinion to bomb Japan! It worked before, it can work again! Can anyone say "H" Bomb? mad.gif

If TV, personal video cameras, phone cameras, and the internet were around during WWII, it would have been almost certain that FDR would have been pressured to negotiate a conditional surrender with the Axis.

Benulis55,

I agree with the others that you should go ahead and get your education. Trust me, this war will still be there when you graduate and the military will need guys like you.

Being the father of a 20 year old Army Ranger I applaud your wanting to be one of the Army's best. Take this tip....get in the best shape you can possibly get into. Infantry basic, AIT, Jump School, and the 10 weel Ranger course run without let up. Jake had 10 minutes from graduation from AIT to form up and hump over to jump school. All this takes place at Fort Benning. My son informs me that Ranger training is quote, "no candy ass course"

Thanks for all the input guys
I have another year of high school left and that is alot of time to decide.
I just know that I am going to serve my country in some way.
I am not tryin to brag but 5 years of football and track and year round weightlifting has given some amount of physical fitness. The physical demands of the Rangers does not worry me niether does the shootin i think I can hold my own on the range and in the physical aspect. But 11 years of school has also given me good grades and a 1260 on SATs and i think i should put that to good use as well.
I thank all of you for the replies and lets hope to God that this situation will be settled quickly and that America will suffer as little as possible

Not to be too political but Kerry will not help this situation that is a fact
How can anyone vote for someone that protested his own country
If he was 30 years younger he would be protesting this war as well
We're there....lets support it and end it as best and as soon as possible

What the MP's did certianly did influence public opinion (in the wrong direction) This is past a reperamand and certianly should fall under courtmarshall.

However, to response to mistreatment with murder; with that kind of escelation we should be able to fire bomb citys for sniper fire. Nicitys need to go out the window, we've lost face and if we want to keep a bunch of sick puppys from repeating this we need to show them we have the stomach to reply, weakness invites more of this.

In my opinion we need the CIA to capture one or more of these sicko's and broadcast them being drawn and quartered before their head is cut off.

I beilve it was Gengas Khan who would go up to a city and say surender or be destroyed. After he leveled a few citys most people got the point, we probaly should start trying that with Fallujah.

To hear his father say that was almost as disturbing as the video! The bottom line is no one, regardless of the "why", should have to be murdered in such a manner.

If you paypal'd me any loot I'll give it back, just say the word, or it will go directly into the "Website Fund" - Either way let me know so I can do whatever needs to be done..

I agree with PhilOhio: Nick, give it to the Bush re election campaign. We didn't know his position before. I saw that same news clip. Berg's father made me sick...

Nick,

I'll gladly contribute to the website anytime you ask, but I won't contribute a penny to the Democratic Party in this country, who I believe, as PhilOhio eloquently pointed out, is merely using this whole episode as anti-Bush propaganda.

I sympathize with the family and the death of their son, but allowing themselves to be used by the Democrats, who are shameless themselves in using the Bergs as anti-Bush spokesmen in their hour of grief, disgusts me to no end.
