Was that 5th "Irish Sword" a personal birthday present?

Well...... I would have to say yes to that, athough my Wife claims that
I am now on a total of five hundred years of good behaviour.
By the way, there is another 1921 arriving later this month and another
1928A1 in September.
!928A1's are starting to get real pricy down here lately due to a local film company "Lord of the Rings productions" buying them up to use on the remake of "King Kong" which is due to be filmed in New Zealand in June next year. I understand the contract was signed in Hollywood last week with Peter Jackson, the Director.
They have already suggested that they might like to hire some of my 1928A1's. I might get a part in the Movie...Kong for example!

You mean that they are going to re-remake"King Kong" and set the time back to the original production of 1932-33? Wow! Even the original did not feature any of the expedition brandishing TSMG's in their quest for the "8th Wonder of The World". Will they have Kong run amuck on the north or the south island? Or will he swim between the two? You know if you get them to cast your wife in the Fay Ray part she might let you corner the market on Colt TSMG's!
What is considered "pricy" in New Zealand since in the colonies we are paying upwards of $20K+ for Colt TSMG's?

They are going to set the movie back into the time in which it was written, although I have never read the book.
They apparently need 10 -12 fully working 1928A1 and I know that they have got a few already.
There are plenty of Thompsons in Stembridge Gun Rentals in LA but they difficulty of getting them out of and back into the USA is tooo much!
1928A1 were about $2.500 NZ Dollars (US$1250) but are now at a massive price of $3750.00 (US$1875.00) 1921 Colts sell for about $10,000 to $16,000 NZ which is $5000 to $8000 US Dollars.
