All is well! Fired 30 rounds or so out of the stock mag. in groups of 4 or 5 - flawless operation. Nice group a bit low and to the left with the peep sight - didn't bother adjusting for elevation. Loooonngg trigger pull that takes some getting used to (esp. right after shooting my 1911) - but it is smooth at least. Didn't want to shoot too many rounds without breaking in the barrel properly, but had some fun - and the piece is a keeper!

Congrats on your good experience with the 27. I agree with the trigger. It took me a bit to get used to. I'll bet the gun was really accurate.
