Picked up a very nice, not worn, Kerr sling at a local gun show. It was really dirty and greasy. Washed it by hand in Tide and it became very, very nice. However, it has several rust spots on it.
Anyone know how to remove them?
Thanks

You can try Whink Rust Stain Remover, available at yout local hardware store. It probably won't remove old, set rust stains completely, but it shoud lighten them enough to make them not as noticeable.

I used Oxi-clean, the stuff that loud mouth advertises on t.v. let it soak for at least an hour or two, stir it once in a while. mine came out like new.
