Thompson 1921 French contract N 12290

This 1921 French contract Thompson has surfaced in France

 

It was used by a resistance member of a group called "Le corps franc des truands" (truand = bandit or gangster)

 

Their insignia was a skull with crossed bones

 

I has been reworked but the markings are still visible

Thank you for sharing. This fits perfectly with other known French Colt's.

 

Colt Thompsons have an uncanny ability to survive!
