It would seem that if someone could make at least usable mags for the type 96 and type 99 they would sell- Last aftermarket metal one I saw ( and bought) was $250. The type 99 conversion for the MG13 mags is fairly simple with the adapters that were for sale a while back. I have two original mags, and a half dozen converted MG13. I am not sure if the 3D printed ones would hold up. Springs would be fairly easy to source, base plate and follower from stampings. I would think that there would be enough of a market to prompt a magazine maker to take a stab at it, since they have the machinery on hand.
