Gentlemen,
In one of my posts I promised I would share with you a few pictures of Thompsons in the hands of the Norwegian resistance - in between changing diapers (three weeks ago we became the parents of a female and future Thompson gunner) I finally found the time to make a little website. Please have a look:

Thompsons came as personal sidearms to SOE and OSS agents sent into Norway to help establish and train the resistance. My late father was in charge of such an SOE operation in this part of the country, but he carried a Colt M1911A1 and a Walther PPK in addition to a US carbine M1 - the two latter are in my possession.
Regards,
Balder

Earlier today I got your website, but with not pics. Now unable to make it to the website, and I'm getting an error message, saying the site was not found, and asking me to make a Google search.

Photos come up nicely now. I'm not sure what happened, but mine that I posted earlier experienced the same backout.
Balder-- This is a fantastic photo. I love seeing a piece of history.

Ok, there I have it for being a cheapskate and using a free website provider - the site seems to be down most of the time. Sorry guys, it seems I need to make a proper site one of these days.
