The bidding for the 1929 Hand book on ebay has just reached

I am sure it will go higher. It is original Colt golden era Thompson literature and the few that are traded are sucked up quickly.
It also seems to be in good shape.

I looked up some notes I had. A much more common 1923 Manual or Catalog (gray) went for auction on evilbay back in February.
I assume it was not a reprint as the Catalogs (green and gray) were reproduced it went $280.
These handbooks have not been reprinted that I am aware of.

Ron, I've made a few deals like that on auctions. Paid a tad on the high side getting into a few auction bidding battles.

I ended up with my Worcester that way with a closing bid of 1,179. But it's a keeper!

I tend to be a little more wary now though, and choosy on what I go after.
