Can the foregrips on a 1928 West Hurley be easily switched from the horizontal grip to a vertical grip?

Yes, all you will need is the long screw to go with the vertical grip. Kevin

Ensure you have the correct foregrip for the gripmount installed on your gun- it could be ½” or ¾” wide.

Yeah, many WH guns used 3/4" wide aluminum front grip hangers rather than the 1/2" wide GI grip hangers. I guess they figured going to 3/4" would make up for the difference in strength between aluminum and steel. I changed mine real quick.

Numerich Gun Parts has foregrips of both descriptions. Just make sure you get the right one, with a screw and any hardware that may go on it.
I bought a horizontal grip and screw, but didn't think to order the sling hardware for my '28.
