                        NEW PARTS
Thompson M1 parts set, all parts less receiver [very nice] $450 +s&h
....

Any reason this would not make an great set of backup parts for a new owner?

I just got one of these M1 sets from Omega. They are Savage and in VERY good condition, mine came with a chrome bolt. The barrel looks new, bright with sharp rifiling.

If I had some spare cash I would buy a couple more.

I talked to Don Bell at Omega. He said that any buyer would be very happy indeed with his parts kits. He related that most are early M1 versions. I'm considering purchasing one as a back-up parts source for my WH M1.

I wonder if your savvy importer would import these as "scrap" rather than "machine gun parts"?
