Did I miss something? Its getting close to December and I didn't see anything about the actual ordering for the drums in the Group Buy- PK let us know when and where to send the dinero, I want several (4) of the buggers.

How will this work PK, I guess I got lost in the four pages of back log; will you post notice then everyone chimes in and we see if the hundred drums are accounted for plus ? Just curious; I know I want one, not certian without a date if I can swing more.

The distributor should receive shipment this week. After receipt and inspection of the first lot here, I will post findings and decide under what conditions to offer them. I have seen only one of the new drums so far and, although it’s not perfect, it’s better than the old NAC/ Kahr product overall.

I would hope to have something on the board within two weeks. Don’t spend all your Christmas $$

The distributor received the shipment on time, but they turned out to be X drums used in a promo.

Kahr advised me last week that L drums were to be shipped to the distributor this week. I intend to call Kahr tomorrow to insure it happened. If it has, I should have some for inspection next week, late.

Kahr has been concentrating on private sales because they generate lot more $$ for them, but these will come through.

Whoever sent the private message- I tried to respond but it exploded in hyperspace, I have no idea where it went. I don’t like the PM thing, I don’t seem to have good luck with it.

Stay tuned.

Not to dampen anyones enthusiasm or anything... But I just talked with Merle the Drum Doctor yesterday, and he had pre-ordered 10 of the new drums, he is not very impressed... He was shipped five drums and one of the five was beyond even him getting running.... When ask if he wanted a replacement drum he said "no, and btw cancel my order for the last five".... Just passing on a little info.... He has three c-drums for sale that are garunteed to run if anyone is interested... Also sounds like he is getting ready to stop taking more drums in*... So if you have been putting off getting a drum to him, you might want to get in gear and ship it out.....

*Let me revise this... He is getting backed up, and possibly may not be taking more in the near future... He is not quitting by any means.... I was just trying to give a heads up for people who want to get work done in the nearer future....

I spoke with Merle yesterday- he has seen 3 and evaluated 2 (the one with the missing spring rivet couldn’t be evaluated)

I have 5 inbound and hope to test them this weekend. I will post a detailed report and recommendation, then open up the order if it looks like it will fly. The distributor has stock.

Watch for a NEW thread early next week.
