Shane
I looked at a M1 not A1 the serial # is in the low 98,000 range. The gun still has "L" sight and the floating firing pin. It has Bridgeport address with "S" stamped in front of the mag well,it also has "AA" stamped in the rear stock. I moved into a new home and I can not find my American Thunder book at this time. Thanks for any help identifing this gun. Shane
96lt1ss
Based on the information on page 99 of American Thunder I would say it was produced in late 1942
