ILLINOIS ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN." This proposed legislation will include bans on most, if not all, semiautomatic rifles, shotguns, and handguns. It will also ban black powder rifles and any other firearm having a bore of .50

your rights.
2. Call Senator John Cullerton's offices at (217) 782-7260 AND (773)
883-0770 and tell the operator that you are a law-abiding supporter of the

3. Call Representative Karen May's offices at (217) 782-0902 AND (847)

LIONHART FOR PREZ IN 08!!!!!
In a tribute to our brave "Special Forces", and the recent sunsetting of the Komrade Klinton AW ban, I purchased a new Bushmaster XM15 E2S last Saturday at a local gun show. I'm sure the special forces guys carry other firearms, but the XM15 looks like it would be suitable for such a mission, if push come to shove. I got one with "ALL THE EVIL FEATURES"!!!! What a cool looking firearm! I didn't "need" one of these firearms, I bought it to celebrate the down fall of the anti-gunners!! I figured I better buy one before some lying bastard from mass gets elected to a high government office and might try something "foolish". I hope we get the group buy on drums completed before something bad happens.
Looks like illinois will soon join kalifonia and others by trampling on the Second Amendment.
I would recommend moving to Missouri, but I like the small population of the state. All things considered, things are pretty good here (conceal carry, C&R, two pro-gun U.S. senators, soon to be elected pro-gun governor, etc.).
All take care,
Mario

That would work, and they just might think twice before going to the next house.

Now wait these are politicians we are talking about.

Well it might just take several incidences before they get the point.

Seriously though, what would you do, if found in a situation like this? Better make up your minds, as we'll be facing this in the future. To me, it's not a matter of IF, it's when..
Mario, BRAVO on your purchase. Now when your able, obtain the following. 1) Extra Magazines. 2) Plenty of ammunition. Can NEVER have too much ammo. I recommend SS109. 3) Spare Parts, preferably those manufactured by Bushmaster 4) Enough cleaning supplies. Buy more than you think you will need. Also obtain those long Pipe Cleaners. 5) Practice, Practice, and MORE practice! Get to know your Rifle the best that you can. Take care of it, and it should be enough to take care of you. I would also suggest purchasing some of Fred's Quick&Dirty Targets, and Manual. He advertises in the Shotgun News. I believe his website is: http://www.fredsm14stocks.com He can be a bit slow in shipping. Expect a month to two month wait. He offers a lot of good deals, and the wait is worth it, believe me!

I'm sure every criminal in the state will be running to turn in those weapons... NOT!
All this does is disarm honest people. Crooks are crooks and will ignore the law.
How goddamn dumb are these "legislators"?

MY RIFLE
This is my rifle.
There are many like it, but this one is MINE.
My rifle is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I must master my life.
My rifle without me is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.
I must fire my rifle true.
I must shoot straighter than my enemy who is trying to kill me.
I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will...
My rifle and myself know that what counts in war is not the rounds we fire,
the noise of our bursts, nor the smoke we make.
We know it is the hits that count. We will hit...
My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life.
Thus, I will learn it as a brother.
I will learn its weaknesses, its strengths, its parts, its accessories, its sights, and its barrel.
I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage.
I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready.
We will become part of each other. We will...
Before God I swear this creed.
My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country.
We are the masters of our enemy.
We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until there is no enemy, but PEACE.

I just read the .50 cal sniper rifle bill. It will ban my m1868 Trapdoor .50/70. That is just stupid. Too bad for the Sharps rifle fans original or repro.

All English Brown Bess Flint Muskets are .75 cal
Many flint long rifles are rifled at .50 cal and above
All percussion Civil War Rifled Muskets and carbines were .54 to .58 cal.

First thing to do? Shoot the BASTARDS if and when they come to your door ordering you to surrender your firearms! |
Lionhart, I think I just found the soundtrack to your notion!
