In all the books I can't find any thing on winding keys for drums. Is there any noticeable difference between the drum keys for the colt vs. the GI drums. If so what - any photos showing the difference if there is any.

I am told the position of the rivets are different on the Colt/New York drums as compared to the WWII drum keys. One of my New York drums was missing the key and to replace it cost me $150.

I remember some material somewhere on this subject, but can't remember where.
If I recall correctly there is some subtle but noticeable differences in the dimple.
I will try to remember where and post it somehow.
