I am still looking for information on a canvas case for a 1928 Thompson. It is made of dark green canvas, like the more 2 common OD canvas cases for the thompson but is of the pre war style.

It is of the style of the original Mills and Rusco canvas cases for the pre war thompsons, with the pocket for the buttstock and the 4 XX mags, but is made of dark OD green canvas. The one I saw a long time ago was marked "TWEEDS 44".

Anyone seen one of them lately or have one for sale?

Check out the article in Thompson Collector News, Issue 146, page 7 for information on the TWEEDS 1944 canvas carrying case.
