Just saw this one today .. Nice official letter from the state.. (this one was from California but any state that does photo cop will work.) telling you that your car has been photoed speeding in such and such a city and the bail is $317.00 to be paid by a certain time and only by Bank Cheque of Money Order or your license will be suspended and a warrent issued for you. Even has a return envelope to send it to the "Process Center". blink.gif

Eh, just go ahead and pay it. You KNOW you've sped before and not got caught. This helps make up for it.

FWIW and good looking woman aside - the State of Cal does not send "to whom it may concern" letters about exceeding the limit. They send letters to specific drivers/registered owners and state clearly that you ran a red light, not were speeding. The law still states you MUST be seen speeding by an officer in order to issue a summons. Also, all bails go to a county court, not a processing center.

This is one bogus letter. mad.gif

Ok, who is she? blink.gif

Definitely a scam !!

The letter is fake but the headlights look real. Too bad people will fall for both and it will cost them dearly. Of course one would be much more enjoyable than the other.

I agree with Poprivit, who is she?
