This was taken at the "Bulge" of the survivers of Task Force Hogan who had to destroy their weapons and filter back to American lines. Note the M1 Thompson with a barrel band and no stock.

Somebody's been going through my photo album again. I removed the Stock so that I could stick that M1 in my Duffle. How else, afterall, would I have been able to smuggle it home?
