I contacted the guy who was selling the FAL and the Bridgeport M1 and asked if he would sell them seperately. He agreed and we have struck a deal...U.S. Property Stamped, matching upper and lower. Owned by a PD after the war.. I'll have all the history soon.. biggrin.gif

The FAL is still for sale, he posted me a couple of pics of both guns I'll post his name and contact info so anyone who wants a beautiful FAL can get this one from him.. he wants 9K for it....SOLD!!

Hawkeye--
You again prove the adage, the early bird catches the worm. Excellent job getting a nice prize! I look forward to a nice range report from you when it arrives.

Joe

Silver might have had something to do with it, but I think green was the color that was of greater importance.

Hi Guys,

Hawkeye Joe, Congratulations on your new aquisition. She's a Looker.
Does anyone know if the LaFrance FAL is still available?
I've been looking at FALs for months.

Thanks,

Johnny

Johnny.45,

Call him, it possibly is. I told him I would post it with those pics. I think it's a real buy, if I had more of that green that sniper's talkin' about I'd have gone for the 21K deal...

Sniper,

What do you think makes all those ol' tongues silver? That's how us ol' farts get those good lookin' babes too... laugh.gif

14K 50/50 plus transfers and shipping. He would have paid for 1st transfer and shipping if I'd paid 100% up front.
