Hello all!
I'm pleased to announce the new Services that Damon at Tommygunner is providing for all those who own a Semi-Auto Thompson. Some of the Services available could also be implemented to those who own a FA. Damon is now providing individuals a chance to enhance the overall appearance of their Thompson to appear just like a Colt 1921 Model!
I have worked with Damon in the past, and the quality of workmanship speaks for itself!
I invite everyone to take a look, and I suspect Damon will be quite busy in the very near future. Congratulations Damon, and I wish you great success and enjoyment overhauling and beautifying these Thompsons!

Lionhart--
I've been quite busy with my art stuff lately. I occasionally surface to make a bad pun or two. LOL. I'll email you my recent kahr exploits.

Thanks Devlin, Phil..
Set up some software to produce quotes. Because some operations are included in others...it usually works out to be less than adding up the mods you want. Will be adding to the list shortly.
Ralph...
What? and deface a gun with "All the classic details of the time honored original"? Just wouldn't be right.

I guess the only service not offered, because it can't be, would be removal of "Kahr Arms" from the receiver. ![]() |
the only refferance to kahr arms, that i found, is the "KA" in the serial, i.e. "KA41##". unless it's buried under the butt stock.

My Kahr receiver does not have "KAHR" on it either.
The serial number contains a "KA", but that is it.
Also, the serialnumber is stamped inside the receiver (on the underside of the top of the receiver, just behind where the hole is to remove the cocking handle.)
The address on the side is...
AUTO-ORDNANCE CORPORATION
WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS, U.S.A.

Phil, I would suggest that you contact Kahr, and inform them of the necessity of your statement to be enclosed as a Card, with each AND every Firearm they manufacture!
OR, The Federal Tommygunner Marketing Requirement!
Say Damon, I know you folks just shipped out my VZ24 that I sent in for Restoration. I shall let you know the moment I receive it. Thank you again Damon!(Now, would you like to do a K98?
)
My Kahr does not state "Kahr" on the Receiver. Rather, Auto-Ordnance. The Serial Number starts off with a "KA". However, there are no other Serial Numbers that I could find, other than the one on the left hand side of it's Receiver. Nothing inside my Receiver...

They don't put Kahr on the reciever. Just that is has their "Worcester Ma" and the "KC" or "KA" by the serial number. If it has that, it's a new made gun by Kahr Arms, the owners of Auto Ordnance and the "Thompson".

Well one thing is for sure Kahr is using the Thompson name like they own it...as successors in interest from the Numrich AOC.
Devlin,
Sure I love mausers! I use a sporterized K98 for my big game gun. I put a custom walnut sporterized stock, Pillar blocked, Timeny (sp) trigger, turned the bolt handle down, competition crown, High polish and made a custom scope mount for it. Drives tacks! Let me know when you are ready!
