Kinda Off Topic But, It Still Affects Thompsons

I just found this place http://www.nfaoa.org/ they of course, are trying to fix the problems with the NFA and various other NFA related problems. Specifically, the Lautenburg admendment to the GOPA of 1986..Whether they have any chance of doing anything positive depends on the NFA community.

 

I of course, know what it's like not to have much in the way of NFA freedoms in my state as we haven't had civilian ownership of machineguns since 1922 according to Washington state... so, I cannot do much other than complain or move!

 

So, it would be nice to repeal the rottenburg admendment and restore some of our rights!

 

It wouldn't affect the older Thompson prices, but it would be worth it as various others might produce at least a few non Khar-Krap-actually functioning Thompsons and take the pressure off of the new NFA owners!

 

I know, it's probably a dream but it's a nice one!
