I just received 3 XXX magazines repacked in 1969. The one I opened (bag has a small tear already) appears to be new with minor scratches from previous storage.
The interesting thing is that it is parkerized and doesn’t appear to be re-done. I have, of course, seen Parked mags before, but not right out of the bag. The maker is C Co and the following is marked on the bag:
PCC MIL-B-117D 4/69 >
PC312C 22018*59 TYPE-2 CLASS*E STYLE –1
The * are dots centered in the text and the > is an arrow.
I am not familiar with this stock number and wonder if anyone else has any information on these.
As an aside, I would prefer blued mags to match my gun, if anyone with a parked gun would like to trade, drop me a line.

PK, I think that the markings are the milspec of paper that they are packed in.

Hi Mike,
I don’t think so, that spec is in red lettering with the company name of who did the packaging or, perhaps, the maker of the packaging.
The markings I refer to are smaller and in black. On other mags and parts I have seen, these marks had the numbers for the part inside.
