i bought a 50 rd drum and it wont push rthe rounds thru,the first 4 go thru and then it stops like it isnt wound.when i take the cover off tit works properly but not with the cover on.I bought it second hand and the guy said it was a pre ban,but I cant verify this by any markings.does any one know of any one who can tune these things up?thanks.Ron

The lids fit to tight. Sand the lip off of drum body at the top of the drum. Reblue sanded area with cold blueing it matches pretty good. Cut rivets down a bit with drimel tool both in lid and body. You will most likely have to file underside of rotor to keep it from rubbing on rails. Take off all burrs found. Touch up all blueing were needed. Clean really good and add light coat of oil inside and out. Go shooting! After tweaking mine works 100 percent.

The problem is likely in the spacing of the guides in the cover.
I do not recommend you sand the lip off the body for any reason.
