I have a question about NFA rules/laws.

If you have a shotgun that is registered as a destructive device (such as a semi-auto USAS-12 or Street Sweeper), can you put any length barrel on it without having to register it a short-barrel shotgun?

Thanks,

***Disclaimer: This is my guess and ATF should be contacted for an official statement.***

My Guess.....Since its the receiver that is registered, you should be able to do what you please with the barrel.
