p51
I was drooling over the replica M28A1s that Kahr makes, with a charging lever that actually works but doesn't chanber a round. I'd be willing to snag one to mount on my original M28A1 lower, but would they go together without gunsmithing? And even if they do, does violate any ATF laws? Has anyone seen one of the Karh replica non-functioning guns and could give a review of it? I'd only need the upper, as even their M28A1's come on a M1/M1A1 lower, and I'd like to use as many original parts as I can legally use, anyway. In my state, you can't have Class III, nor a SBR tommy, so a dummy like this is as close as I can get. I have a aluminum reciver on my 28A1 now, but was going to get a Philly Ord solid steel one instead, but if I could mount this Kahr one on it, I think that'd be even better. Opinions, anyone?
