We know a 90% Thompson sold the other day for $32k with a #'d L drum. #'d L drums are fairly rare and I know some have sold for up to $4k recently. Let's say the drum is worth around $3k then if so the gun was around $29k. I would say Lionhart's suggested $24.5k is about right for an 85% gun.
You should consider joining the Thompson Collectors Association.

That's a can of worms.
Some will say 10K while others will say 35K.
Me...I wouldn't have one, but that's just me.

Were you the one who bought the Colt 21/28 Navy that just sold on Bowers for about 26K?
