Folding Stock Thompson

im watching the movie U571 and they are useing thompsons with side folding stocks.never seen those before.

Its Hollywood bullshit. There is no folding stock TSMG.

Folding stock TSMGs are in the realm of "Mare's Leg" Winchesters, U.N.C.L.E. Walthers, and "Road to Perdition" Thompsons (quick disconnect front grip setup) - Hollywood as John Jr indicates.

I did my M1A1 underfolder (see pictures on a prior thread - which I refer to as a Tactical Thompson or my "Highway to Hell" gun) so it would all neatly fit including magged ammo in a single SWAT case. Hanks had to carry mags separately in "Road to Perdition" which I consider a serious flaw.
