NO! It will not take a stock and is a pistol - there is a exception for the front grip. I have one that has had the comp moved back on the Bbl.

Does anyone know or have heard if Kahr Arms is planning on marketing a1927A5 type pistol anytime in the foreseeable future?

No, because it has an overall length of 26 inches or greater.
If one were to put a 10.5 barrel on it, that person would have to register it as an AOW.
If one were to put a stock on it (or a trigger frame that would hold a stock), that person would have to register it as an SBR.
