Does anybody know if somebody is presently manufacturing a poly buffer for a W.H. M1 TSMG?
Is it really necessary, or does the original one work just as well?

Thanks, Brent. blink.gif

Brent,

I don't believe there is an after-market buffer available for the M1, but I could be wrong. I have never heard of any problems with the WH M1 buffers, as I believe they are original USGI. I have a WH M1 that I have owned since 1988, and just took it apart and cleaned it Friday. I inspected the buffer very closely, which is the original buffer the weapon came with, and saw no significant wear. I keep a couple of extra buffers as back-ups, just in case.
