Who has earned the title of "Post Whore" on the Machinegun books site?

QUOTE (PhilOhio @ Aug 16 2005, 09:00 AM)
John, Jr.,

You're just going to have to start "bumping" more old posts, if you expect to ever catch up.  And you and Arthur have so much Colt lore to discuss that I can't understand why your numbers are so low.  You need to sell a house, buy a low number 1921, and get some threads going.  There's still a real shortage of info on original factory white lettering.  laugh.gif

I was thinking we needed to discuss the guy I saw on some board selling reproduction 1921 barrels the other day.

Since the only time I post is to hijack one particular posters threads, at least that is what I'm told, I don't really have a chance to turn into a real m/b trollip.......

OMG!!!!! IFT! ROTFLMAO!!! He is at 825 and I'm at 820!!! I must have missed five of his postings.... ph34r.gif

BTW I wonder who is the highest posting non-payer? Looks like we have several zero posters who are sponsors....

I guess someone was going to fill the void when DR was out of commission. But $550 for a repro barrel? NOS Savage finned barrels bring around $250. Does Kreiser put his "K" on the barrel or are we back to GH's parts box again?

Phil,

I think the old board is a tremendous source for info on factory white lettering.

I'll stop posting when I hit 1492. That will be the age of discovery.

Who's calling me a Whore!?? I don't get paid for this, but perhaps I should biggrin.gif . Yeah, I do believe I won the Wind Bag Award again this year! You know, It seems like yesterday that I made my First Post. Quite fond memories... I would think some of my better post's involved Recipes for Cocoanut Prawns, Elephant Ears, and Pudding Skins.. Which I know AF must have truly enjoyed. And the now infamous thread on the White lettering. Thanks Phil, how could, after all this time, forgotten that? Found memories indeed. Well! You all have more to enjoy in the future!

Just kidding. I too wonder if they are marked somehow or not. Bet you anything they are not marked. It would hurt the authenticity don't you know!

Chris,

That's cheating, you can only count the posts on this board -- not your posts on the whole internet.
