I have a Thompson 1928 L Drum marked LEO. Will this fit a semi 1927 A5? It slide in but tight as it is new and the A5 has never had a drum, but it does not seem to go over far enough to click in and the shell slot does not line up with the bolt where it is? Does anyone know?
Thanks

It was difficult for me to get a drum in my 27A5 pistol the first few times.
It will (or should) fit in your gun. The problem is the "roughness" of the A5 receiver combined with the sloppy manfacturing of the WH/Kahr drum.
If you work the drum in and out of the slots, it should loosen up. Beware! the A5 scratches very easily due to it's finish!
