Not sure if this one is true or not. If it is you just have to wonder what else is under that water that we all treasure.
I hope there are no unscrupulous types pawning off damaged goods later. I have heard that happens a lot in the auto industry.

Sig,.. thru some second hand e-mails the D-Day Museum had to have armed defenses...don`t know of any damage assessments as of now...one thing I can definitely say is the 2nd amendment was in full force in some parts of N.O.!!... wink.gif

Sounds encouraging. I would hate to have any real historical items lost, C3 or not.
We know there will be for sure some items lost no question about it.
Thankfully it seems the city is now secure and the people that were left now safe (I think) and it is now a huge cleanup.
Hardee and 21 smoker, please keep us informed on the museum.
thanks

I spoke with Marty Morgan, Curator of the museum, on Saturday and he stated that the guns in the collection are kept in a locked cabinet inside of the vault. All the guns on display are non functional. The only thing that was reported to be damaged was the ATM that was looted after his escape on Wednesday.
