ohmy.gif This next shoot, we will have a popular guest, Gunny from Mail Call on the History channel will be there, Fri or Sat...........Among all the things he will do & see, he is to spend some time down at the "Jungle Walk' with us.
This is an opportunity to get a group picture of him, surrounded by members of the mgbooks Thompson gang......That would be something.....jw

I'm guessing the History Channel is paying him pretty good. Judging by the ring and watch in that photo Mike has........ tongue.gif -adlake

I told him I was in the Air Force.

After I told him about my website, he said he had seen it. So we did a photo for the web. If he's there, I'll print this out and have him sign it.

He reminds me of my old drill instructors, always yelling especially loud when my head was hurting the most. R. Lee seems like great guy.

That watch was a Gold Nugget Rolex. Ring to match. That was at the "500 World of Wheels" here in Indianapolis year or so ago.

If you get the chance, ask him about the animated cartoon about his life he's working on. Yes, I'm serious! And bring Glock stuff for him to sign, as he's now their spokesperson (I guess Nike or Pepsi didn't have enough class). Gunny is actually a pretty nice guy. He knows full well that people love his tough guy schtick. He said that people ask him to tell them to choke themselves all the time. I was just down to the "Mail Call" set last month filming a segment that has nothing to do with TSMGs (no, I don't know when it'll air, but it was about WW2 cartoonist Bill Maudlin), and I got to talk with him for a short period of time:
