Can anyone recommend where I can get a decent FBI case for my 28 Thompson, without having to spend big bucks. The only ones that I've seen out there sell for about 125.00 to 150.00. Are these half way decent.

Hey Railroader-
Those cases for 125-150 are for semi-automatic guns, so they are longer to support the longer barrel.
You are probabaly looking at over $500 to get a good quality, correctly sized one. There is a board member who makes them and I hear they look great (on my list of to-do's). See the Thompson FAQ.
However, you can use a SA Kahr/WH hard case with a full auto. The compartment for the buttstock will fit it nicely, plus the extra space lets you potentially carry a second L drum.
Chris.

The man about the cases to see is Greg Fox. You can find his info in the FAQ section. Greg is first class and his cases are first class also. I think the prices are around $589 if I recall. He will be at the Creek in a few weeks. Greg makes the FBI, POLICE and Indiana case.

I have purchased two of his cases and they are first rate - every as good as my original "Books Trunk" case. A good buy for the money!
