FYI...
Sarco was selling complete Savage M1928 lowers, finned barrels w/comps, no bolt stocks with hardware! Most appeared to be brand NEW.
MG Dave told me that they were asking $1,000 for a lower, but Mike told me that was for the whole set. There were NO rear sights, acuators or other parts.
If interested give 'em a call.

Could the Sarco 1928 parts kit be from the same source as the current IMA kits? OR could Sarco have purchased a few from IMA and be selling them minus the actuator, bolt, sight and recoil assembly? The IMA kits include the finned barrel/comp/sight/forestock/swivel, grip mount, complete lower/grip, no bolt stock/hardware, actuator, complete bolt, guide, buffer, recoil spring, unprotected flat lyman sight and latch/spring. The three 1928 kits I received from IMA this month look to be unfired, feed ramps don't have a mark on them. Nice blue/black finish, no rust, no pitting underneath. At $999, seems like a better deal than Sarco.

I agree with Carbine1. The one I recieved from IMA is in excellent condition.
