Maybe Hank was screwed in the deal and wants his money back! laugh.gif
There is a TCA member that does own the 1928 that Hank jr DID own. And he has the paper to prove it. I've seen it.

Do sample guns generaly bring less than pre-86 guns? Just curious, seems that the market for sample guns is even more limited than the regular NFA market. KJ

hal spiro out of virginia owned the original hank william's colt 21,hal died a few year's back sad story!!he also had a mp-40 of his..and serial #894 formally one of mine.now restored. and also the mock up gun for the one in the n.r.a.museum donated by tracie hill.and work done by tiffany arm's,{c.jordan}

as far as this sample just that.and never in hank's hands,he was not a dealer.

hopefully the guy will do better pic's.the gun look's beat..maybe the chair it's sitting on will be worth more.didn't clark gable sit on that on the porch scene while visting tara???
wink!!

have fun guy's it's all that first.......... take care,ron

Same idiot is asking 12K for an UZI! I email him about the price and he said he was listing them for a friend, yeah right. The most a NIB UZI is selling for these days is 5K max.

current selling price's.at least i know these are right because i owned them and sold them.2005 sale's
n.i.b.pre-86 mini-uzi $5,500.00
exc.cond mini-uzi pre-86 $4,100.00
reg.trans standard uzi..$5,200.00
uzi pistol n.i.b. $1,200.00
uzi s.b.r..n.i.b. $650.00
pre-86 standard model n.n.b.$3,000.00

and they all went with sling's loader's and extra mag's and two can's..and all happy customer's... if they are getting more then that .then they are finding some mo money then brained people.as i thought these are fair price's.and so did the people who bought them from me. no more uzi's boo!! take care.ron

p.s. john is right of $5,000 normally on a standard model the market is soft....
