ghostsoldier
Just a quicky here about ammo...anyone ever shot the cheapo Wallyworld brand of 230gr. FMJ called "Blazer Brass"? It's only 10 bucks a box for 50 rounds...just curious about it's performance... Rob (I know, I know...opinions about ammo are like assholes.... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif )
Grey Crow
I've used quite a bit of Blazer Brass, works great in the 27 and both of my 1911's... Cleans up and reloads well too. I use more of the Winchester White box as its about a buck cheaper per 100, granted its only a buck but after a while those add up.
ghostsoldier
Thanks, fellas. Where do you get your Seller and Bellot ammo; do you buy it locally or off the 'net? No one in my area stocks it...if it's a web dealer, do you have a link? Rob
Whiskey Brother
I thought Blazers were berdan primed and aluminum cased. (Or am I thinking of some other Blazer stuff...? It's marked "N R" on the headstamp. As is "Non Reloadable".?)
Chopper28
Whiskey Bro. Your thinking of that aluminum cased Blazer crap in 9mm. It may work in pistols but it doesn't work well at all in my subguns. The case is soft and tends to bend in the middle as it tries to go up the feed ramp. Buy good stuff to shoot in your expensive guns. it will save you alot of grief in the long run. Just my .
