Kinda surprised they haven't raised the price since they obviouly have no problem selling out of their aledged supply. Time will tell.
I picked up a ex. condition Seymore L drum for $450 the other day so maybe SG's claim to have drums are affecting the overall prices on sure things.

It wouldn't be the first time we ever ordered something that never materialized, would it?

Granted they might just keep on edging out a month at a time in hopes the ship will be able to unload them and clear custom's or they will bag it.

It could be either way with the ad being pulled-
Either they didn't need it anymore as the total expected shipment is spoken for -in which case it seems they haven't needed it for 3 months now

or
They just aren't coming in at all-

With my luck its the latter and for those of you who have good luck with these sorts of things you have my humble apologies for ordering one and messing you up.

He also said that they had 300 drums on back order and that all 300 were "sold" to folks like us who are waiting. Has anyone tried ordering one lately? The dude at SG made it sound like there were no additional drums to be sold besides the ones already ordered.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the first 300 coming in soon.

The upside for those on the back order list that believe that hope springs eternal is for what one might pay for 3 of the SG drums we could have 2 of the soon to be built (yea right) Kahr C drums with dinero left over to fill them up. Downside of this is the C's aren't built to MErle's standard and we are back where we started 100 days ago

Was anyone from Ohio any to order a Drum?
I tried to order a few 20 round magazines and they said that they could not ship them to Ohio, whatever

I am unaware of anyone from Ohio being successful
in ordering drums. It's the- anything larger than .22 long rifle having a magazine capacity more than 30 rds, is considered a machine gun- part of the law that they are basing their policy on. Your 20rd mags should be OK.
I was also advised by them that Ohio was a state they won't sell/ship ammo to. Haven't tried that yet and have quit doing business with them. I'd try the 20 rd mag order again on the phone and see what they say. Good Luck

Thank you for the E-mail.
It is on back order with an approximate ship date of 02/28/06.
Backorder dates are tentative and may change if the vendor fills the order before the expected date or is unable to fill the order on the expected date.

Maybe this is a message from the Thompson Gods that we should wait for the Kahr C drums adn they are making it palatable with Merle in the kitchen.
Is that optimism or what????
Ok I am going back to sleep now.
