Great information. I may have missed this, but I assume these are already auctioned off, correct?

None of my software would open the price list file. Do you know what software that takes?

It would be neat if each item came with a documented history of what movies they were used in.

The history was too much work for the folks that rented them. The value was based on the transferability only. See LMO's web site for more info.

Barry: I don't think so. The one pictured in Frank's book is shorter from front to back. The one in the Ellis pic does look strange. Good eye there, kid (maybe you're not a kid). Hey, maybe they filed it off to make it shoot straighter...wink! biggrin.gif

I don't believe so. It appears to be a standard protected sight. The angle of the picture just makes it appear rounder.

Sgt.

The site states that they had sold excess, and that the list can be opened using MS Excel.

Dang, that's a lot of firearms!

banghead.gif I could knock myself for not buying some more Thompsons in the mid-80's when I had the chance. I ended up buying a couple of MP5's when I didn't know any better because I thought the movie " Die Hard " was cool with all those MP5's blazing away. It kinda sucks now since my interest has been the WWII genre: Thompsons, BARs, etc. that these items will be getting more and more pricey. Looking at those ELLIS / LMOLLC pictures makes me cry!!! Should I get another mortgage to fund my hobby? I wished Santa Claus could have been nice to me! sad.gif
