dreadnought Posted January 24, 2006 Report Share Posted January 24, 2006 That's a big no. Sorry. The only way to do it, it seems, is to know someone and shoot on their land. There was a range (which shall remain nameless) in Eastern PA where outdoor CIII, including heavy calibers, could be shot anytime. They had a nice setup and a huge berm (not shooting into a mountain like the Creek, but BIG), but they were open-membership and anyone from anywhere could join. Unfortunately too many CIII guys were stupid too many times and the range closed. Then most of its members spilled over onto other, smaller, CIII-friendly places -- more than they could, or wanted to, handle -- and they toppled like dominoes, either just shutting out CIII or closing completely. Now nobody will allow CIII as they know that when word gets out everyone's going to head over there and owners simply don't want to put up with it. bug Posted January 25, 2006 Report Share Posted January 25, 2006 Railroader, there is an indoor range in Southhampton PA that allows FA. It is Classic Pistol and I believe they have a website. It's right off of the last Turnpike exit in PA (NJ side). If anyone wants to meet up their I'll bring a Thompson and a few other guns with happy switches.
