I have decided to go to Phoenix for the Small Arms Review show in December. After all it's my birthday that Friday so what's a better way to celebrate then send myself somewhere I've never been before? So who is going to be there I can look up and harrass and what is a great place to stay that is close to the fair grounds? Thanks and look forward to seeing whoever shows up. Murray, I'll be looking forward to those beverages!

Looks like I will be going... then the following weekend it's Albany for the fun shoot on Saturday then I think I'll stay for the Sunday Subgun match and try out my Savage 21/28 in the competition biggrin.gif

Mike,
As you know I will be flying up from New Zealand for the SAR show.
I understand Frank Iannamico is going. I will drive there with Gordon Herigstad. I know that Meale the "drum doctor" is going and it also seems that Doug Richardson will be there. Also Randy from Utah and I know of about eight other Thompson collectors and dealers from Arizona and Texas who will be there.
It was a great show last year and I can't wait. Also the show is held in conjuction with "the Cross roads of the West" gun show in the same complex and that also is a big gun show.
We all stayed at a Motel 6 last year. I cannot remember I street it was on but I am endevouring to find out and will e-mail you.

For those whom are interested,
A number of us are staying at Motel 6 which is adgacent to the Indian School road and I17 freeway intersection, unsure.gif the Motel being located on Indian school road. It is not too far from the Arizona State fairgrounds where the SAR show and Cross roads of the west gun shows are be held. biggrin.gif
