Thread Size On Comp

Anybody know the thread size used on the 1928 Savage to attach the compensator? I was thinking 3/4x28 but I am not sure.

I have a "TSMG cal.45 N.G.F. 20" die in front of me, it says ".7321 pitch dia 28 thds." also stamped S.A. 48669- -1".

Still full of Cosmoline, I assume this is a WWII size. May be from Korean War vintage armory rebuilders, though.
