Is the original cleaning rod for 1921 Brass/
I can buy one for 40.00.
Is that a good deal?

It depends on if it is the original long style rod for the 1921 guns that fit in the police cases. Yes, they were made of brass, but so were the early WWII cleaning rods. If it is the shorter WWII style brass rod, I believe you can get them cheaper than $40.00.

PS: Lionhart, rear grip (and stock) has darkened to almost match the front grip. This photo was taken when I first received the grips.
