Hi everyone, I've been lurking about the forum for quite awhile, decided to finally jump in and join. I'm a semi-retired class III dealer, started in the early 70's. Now mostly into collecting WW II stuff, vehicles, cannons, etc.
Wanted to put a good word in for Merle, the drum doctor. I had found a 39-rd drum at a gun show that had the locking rails ground off, got it for $10. Sent it in to Merle, just got it back, it's like brand new and just purrs through my '28. Also own an M1A1, and a bunch of other NFA toys. My new passion is my restored M3A1 armored Scout Car.

Welcome aboard. Would love to see (and take a ride in) your M3A1. Can you post a picture for the rest of us to envy?

Welcome to the boards!
Please post some pics of the 1928 and M1A1 too, if you can?
Regards, Walter

Welcome! The M3 Scout Car is very nice. There was a good article in the current issue of "Military Vehicles" on those. I'm also a long time member of the MVPA. You probably are too?

Thanks for the warm welcome. I live outside of St. Augustine, Florida and am a member of the MVPA. I'll try and post some pictures of my toys.

M3scout,
Welcome to the boards! Lots of great people here.
I am moving in February from VA to Jax, FL. Do you have a recommendation of where to shoot Class 3 stuff in North Florida? My internet search has been pretty unsuccessful so far.
Best wishes,
Earle
