Thanks for the additional information. That is a good idea about contacting the family. The seller informed me that he wrote the family about the Thompson, but got no response. The family owns an old photo of Dr. Keller, holding the gun, which as one of the reasons the seller tried to contact them. I'll probably try to make a contact for myself.

I thought that the Comercial (Savage) TSMG had black oxide receiver with blued barrel and comp. All of the Colts had the Cyan blue. Yes?
