  1. They are pictured in TD's post above yours ...... I circled in yellow
  2. Anyone notice the markings on the auction gun? Something looks "off" 1st pic is the Auction gun Vs. Demilled 1918 Marlin Rockwell (with SN# in the 25xxx range also), and another Poulin auction gun I'm far from a BAR expert, but that kind of jumped out at me
  3. Watching USFA go from that to the "Zip .22" is like watching the video of the "Kee Bird" (B-29 found in Greenland) ......if you've seen it, you'll know exactly what I mean
  4. Looks like a Richardson "Ultimax" receiver to me ..... 100% legal. Probably one of Dougs Colt-profile bbls. as well https://www.machinegunboards.com/forums/index.php?/topic/14731-doug-richardsons-new-receivers/
  5. I'll cut up an unregistered gun before I F10 it to a museum. I don't see how it could be considered a tax-deductible donation either, as the value of non-registered contraband is $0. Museums often deactivate them, fail to maintain them in any way, shape, or form, and if your "donation" is a duplicate, it gets to slowly rust away in their storage areas. At least a parts kit can be used to keep actual registered guns running. Take the time to listen to this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mO6F9CfgMg4
  6. Original barrels are slowly starting to show up ...... at least 1 importer just brought in a bunch of Swiss Stgw.57 barrels .......
  7. Eventually you may want to think about replacing that sear ....... the engagement surface of yours looks a little rough
  8. Those Broadhead Armory MAC triggers were purpose built, pre-86 conversion devices ......for the MAC family of firearms ......they dropped in to a semi open bolt MAC, and converted the gun to FA-only with no modification to the host firearm. The real issue would be, would their use be allowed in a completely different type of firearm? ........ You can't even use a reg. FNC sear in a SCAR....... 2nd question would be, remove that trigger and what do you have left? Is it a PKM capable of accepting an open bolt firing mechanism ? The registered trigger is the least "sketchy" aspect of this whole thing
  9. Mark Novak put up a Maxim lock video a while back ..... it's still up (for now anyway)
  10. I know it isn't ..... but the NFA trader over there is the only place I've seen a mag listed for a 1918/30 since Recon Ordnance ran out of the handful they had
  11. The Gunboards NFA trader might not be a bad idea ...... I've seen some fairly obscure stuff change hands there
  12. Hopefully your trunion hasn't been fastened to the receiver by straight-slot screws ..... that is no bueno. It needs to be welded, Hi-Temp silver soldered, or crimped into place (like late production guns)
  13. Very nice gun ..... but why are there screws thru the tube into the trunion ???
  14. Mark Serbu has been posting over at Weaponsguild about doing a run of Grease gun barrels ...... might reach out to him
